A studio for slow attention.
veo is a small studio in the Maldives making hand-blown glass terrariums — sealed ecosystems that live on a desk, a shelf, or a low table and need almost nothing from you. Each piece is built around moss, stone, and a few quiet plants, finished by hand, and numbered.
We started this because most things people put on shelves are decorative — pretty for a year, then dust. A terrarium is the opposite. It changes slowly. Moss thickens. The light shifts. After a year you notice you're paying attention to it in the same way you might pay attention to a stone you brought home from a trip.
Made
By hand, in small batches.
Glass is blown locally, in batches of a few at a time. Each piece passes through three sets of hands before it leaves the studio. We don't run a factory.
Sold
Direct, in limited editions.
Pieces are numbered as they're finished. When an edition sells out, we make the next one when we can — not on a schedule.
Cared for
Built to last decades.
Sealed correctly, a glass terrarium can live for fifty years. Every piece ships with the substrate, charcoal, and care notes you need to make sure it does.
